View of Mt. Holyoke Range from RT-47. In the early 60's these slopes were the site of a rock quarry that defaced the mountain for years. In 1999 a local developer proposed a massive housing development. The land was finally purchased by the State in 2000.

Main Gate to Skinner State Park on a busy day in October. Unlike most State Parks in Massachusetts there is usually no admission charge except on weekends.
