WOODSTOCK PANORAMICS This section is under construction. My intent is to create new panoramic photos, essentially never seen before, derived from existing sources like the Woodstock movie. How does it work? Whenever a movie/video camera is panning sideways or up/down there is the potential to capture individual frames and blend them into a panoramic scene using special software. Often this is impossible due to lens distortion. Below are some examples of when this technique is successful. The first picture is from in the Woodstock movie. There is a downward camera pan from the lake to the Woodstock stage in its early construction stage.
CROWD BEFORE STORMThis scene is just before a violent thunderstorm strikes the festival. It's too wide to fit on this page.
